Aiken Axler is a minor character in Cars. He races for the team "Nitroade." He is a Lux Motors Co. Piston Cup V8 that likes to meditate.

"Number 28 Nitroade racer, Aiken Axler, captured the 2003 Vitoline Rookie of the Year honors in his first full season of Cup competition. He's finished 12th, 7th, and 8th in the final point standings over the past three years. Off the track, Axler enjoys maintaining his top racing form by exercising daily and practicing a form of meditation called Tai Rod. He and fellow Piston Cup Racer, Darrel Draggered, formed the alternative country jazz trio "Three Cycle" and performed at the 2004 Piston Cup awards ceremony!"[1]

Aiken is one of the thirty-six race cars who compete in the Dinoco 400 at the Motor Speedway of the South. He was one of the many involved in a huge wreck caused by Chick Hicks in the early laps of the race, having been left stranded in between the line that separates the racetrack from the infield. He received some minor damage and was able to finish the race in 5th place.

Aiken Axler appears in Cars: The Video Game, with the name ''Joltsen''. In Palm Mile Speedway, he finished in 6th place; in Motor Speedway of the South, he finished in 20th place; in Sun Valley International Speedway, he finished in 5th place; in Smasherville International Speedway, he finished in 5th place and in Los Angeles International Speedway, he finished in 15th place.

  • As one of the two cars recreated for Walt Disney World's Piston Cup Junior Ride-Along program for the Richard Petty Driving Experience, Aiken received a significant paint overhaul with more white and orange.
