Blast Off is the first episode of Buzz Lightyear: Mission Logs. It was released on the 2010 Blu-ray and DVD release of Toy Story.
Story[]
The short opens with Rex and Hamm playing a computer game on Andy's computer (he is presumably somewhere) when Buzz suddenly appears. Apparently, he has been away because upon him, Rex says "Buzz! You're back! Where have you been?" Buzz then says "I'll show you." He types in www.nasa.gov, and hits the enter key. He tells about the start of his trip to space. There is footage of him floating around with astronauts.

Trivia[]
- This was released on the 2010 Blu-ray and DVD release of Toy Story, and features Randy Newman's music in the film.
- When Rex asks Buzz where he's been, he replies, "I'll show you," similar to when they first met in Toy Story.
- A drawing of Woody is seen behind Buzz, Hamm and Rex. It is later seen behind them again in the next episode.
- Near the end of the short, when Buzz says, "Delicious hot 'sch'moes'," Hamm then corrects him, and says, "That's s'mores, Buzz." In Toy Story 2, Woody corrects Buzz on that same mistake.
- Andy's red Luxo lamp is seen on this desk.
- The plane from Toy Story is also seen in this short.
