Nothing important, only a little thing i noticed. Just watching the first toy story, and noticed his facial expression changes when him and andy are on the recliner. Rileyl 00:04, September 11, 2010 (UTC).

Is it me?...

Or does it seem like this site doesn't have enough information on pixar itself? I know, finding every little fact on each producer or voice actor is too much, but it just seems like the specific movies have been getting more attention. Not to mention, my school has gotten a wave of new teachers. One of which has a room FULL of pixar toys and posters because his close friend works at the studio in CA. I tried to talk to him today before a kid ran up and asked to see his ipad. But I think he is my friend's mom's old co-worker at an old school. Hook ups?

Also, I looked at those cheaper Interactive Buddies toystory toys. I think I like the woody better. I just wish someone one make an perfect woody replica! Too hard to ask?

Up Incredibles and Ratatouille

Anyone else notice that a lot of the trivia bits of Up are related to Ratatouille or The Incredibles? I assume it has to do with the similar design of the movies. Can't put southpark cartoons in with spongebob ones, it just wouldnt look right.

Woops!

Sorry about the cameo/appearance of a truck that may have been red. I remember adding the photo to the article, and thinking if I had worded things correctly (not sure if it was a cameo or not). My bad

Brings up another topic though. There is a photo of a tractor at Sunnyside floating around here saying it is a character from Cars, I am curious if we change that a little too. The only tractor characters were cows, i believe, and they were a different color. Just a note

Toystory changes

Like wine, toy story gets better with age :P

Except that isn't totally true

I just finished watching Toy Story 2 again, and noticed the human characters look so much less alive then they do in the third toy story. Hair looks similar on some people, though. Also, the way everything moves is different. If I remember correctly, less body movement is seen in the characters during the first film. Arms swing differently, facial expressions seem less professional. Might have been from technology being below today's standards, or lack of knowledge in a new frontier in film....Or both.

Lighting is brighter in the third toy story, things tend to glow. And the story seemed to get more personal, probably because the audience knew they cast already.

blah, …

Why I am here

Well, like all normal kids, I enjoy pixar films. 3d Animated movies have always intrigued me because of the detail and time taken to create a full length feature. Just imagine having to adjust hundreds of characters, hundreds of joints and muscles, for hundreds of hours, and end up having a story where anything can happen. The tedious effort to render a model's texture is so fascinating because YOU have the ability to add a tiny tiny signature, just for your knowing, to point out that you had done that. A credit of some sort, but a credit only you know about.

3d Everything is great, and if I am saying anything in my previous paragraph, it is that the world is yours to create, and nothing can stop you!

New information about Lee Unkrich's family life, and Andy's dad.

Living in the San Francisco Bay Area, I saw an issue of Bay Area Parent on the shelf a few days ago, and Lee Unkrich was on the cover. The tagline was "Pixar Pop: All the BUZZ on the Toy Story 3 Director". Inside the issue is an article/interview by Janine DeFao. There are a few things in the article that I think would affect some of the information on the Internet about the Toy Story series. Not just on Pixar Wiki, but IMDb, too. Allow me to quote a bit:

What the author means by this is they used Hannah's voice in the archives to do Molly's voice in the flashbacks in 3. Beatrice Miller still does Molly's voice in the rest of the film, as a pre-teenager. What really is important here is Hannah Unkrich's age. If she is 13 years old as of June 2010 …

Do you think Toy Story 3 will be good or bad?

I think that, based on the outstanding success of the first two Toy Storys, Toy Story 3 should be very good. But, then again, when my friend first heard about it, he thought TS2 would be bad, because, at that time, it was a rarity for most sequels to be as good as the original.

Which Pixar Film Would You Think Would Make A Good Sequel??

The Incredibles 2 would be good to see, I'm starting to get tired of Incredibles 1 after seeing it 100 times.

Bug's Life 2 could work, too.

New here

Hi there everyone!!! Pixardude here. I'm new to the site. I stumbled upon this site and think it is really cool that there is a wiki dedicated to Pixar!! I find their animation breathtaking and I tinker with CGI programs like Blender sometimes. I really want to collect all of the Pixar movies and put them in a glass case or something, because everyone at Pixar has done a great job and I like all of their productions. Keep it up Pixar!

Toy Story Double-Feature Review

Pixar has, without a doubt, retained its charm throughout the many years it has stood strong. After this year's Up and last year's WALL-E outtings, it's good to just sit back and enjoy some of their earlier films like this. And, as much as I try to avoid clichés in writing, they're better than I remember!

The re-rendering makes textures, lighting, etc. on both films look much better than before; though it's more noticable with the first movie. The faces of the humans look a good deal better, as well. And this goes without saying, that the two movies are spectacular. Inbetween them is a 10-minute intermission where you can watch Toy Story Trivia and answer questions, theatre-styled. Most questions are easy, though you have to remember that t…

WALL-E Review

Perhaps the greatest sci-fi thriller in ages, straight from the masterminds at Pixar comes WALL-E, an epic tale and Pixar's most compelling to date.

The film starts out showing an image of the Earth -- Earth in 800 years, to be exact. Immediately the viewers are treated to the happy showtunes of "Put On Your Sunday Clothes", as the current state of the Earth is revealed. Gloomy and forlorn, the post-apocalyptic planet is now home to a little trash compactor named WALL-E and his cockroach friend left with the task of cleaning up Earth, a job which he pursues with a strangely charming naive optimism. Going out each day to compact more trash and occasionally saving anything he deems interesting, his greatest treasure is a tape of the 1960's mu…
