Cars 3: Driven to Win is a video game based off of the Disney-Pixar film, Cars 3. It was developed by Avalanche Software, which was shut down by Disney in 2016, but was acquired and revived by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. As Disney no longer develops and publishes video games after the release of Disney Infinity 3.0, Warner Bros. published the tie-in game.

Gameplay

The game takes place after the movie and features over twenty playable characters, as well as over twenty tracks that exist across thirteen different locations, including Radiator Springs and Florida International Speedway.[3][4] There are also weapons on the track which players can collect and use to take down other racers, like in Cars 2: The Video Game.[5]

Trivia

  • For some reason in the game's storyline, Lightning McQueen sports his usual red paint job, despite having changed his paint job to dark blue and naming himself the Fabulous Lightning McQueen at the end of the film. However, the player can play as either version of McQueen in the game.
