William Clyde "Chase" Elliott II (born November 28, 1995) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He currently drives the No. 9 Chevrolet ZL1 1LE for Hendrick Motorsports in the NASCAR Cup Series. He is the son of 1988 Winston Cup Series champion Bill Elliott.[2]
He won the 2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series championship, becoming the first rookie to win a national series championship in NASCAR.
On November 23, 2015, Elliott was named the 2015 NASCAR Xfinity Series Most Popular Driver for the second year in a row.
Chase won the 2020 Cup Championship after Kevin Harvick got eliminated, Since 2017 when Dale Earnhardt Jr retired, Elliott has won the Most Popular Driver award for the Cup Series ever since.
He voiced Chase Racelott in Cars 3.
