Chef Gusteau's Frozen Foods (named "Gusteau's Microwaves" on the ads and the picture beside) is a line of microwaveable frozen foods marketed and owned by Chef Skinner.
After Auguste Gusteau's death, Skinner became head chef and assumed ownership of Gusteau's restaurant. Using Gusteau's image, he created a line of frozen food products to market to customers. Although considered commercially successful, after Linguini became owner of Gusteau's, the line was subsequently cancelled and he and the other staff proceeded to burn down the last remaining line of the frozen foods and ads.
The line of Chef Gusteau's Frozen Foods:
- BBQ Dips N' Ribs
- Tooth Pick N' Chicken
- Chopsocky Pockets
- Haggis Bites
- Corn Puppies (the entire line was discontinued before this product was released)
- The frozen foods products line are reminiscent of the Disney Sequels brand Disney straight to video animated sequel movies which were released on VHS and DVD under Michael Eisner's 21-year time as Disney CEO. Much like the microwavable frozen foods products line in the Rataouille universe, these were cancelled after John Lasster was appointed chef creative officer of the Walt Disney Animation Studios and demanded DisneyToon Studios to discontinue production on straight-to-video animated sequels, midquels, and prequels and to instead focus on making original animated spin-off franchise productions, much like what Linguini did when he became the new owner of Gusteau's after replacing Chef Skinner and halted further production of frozen foods.
