Official Announcement
Concept art
Disney/Pixar announced Lee Unkrich's next film at CinemaCon on April 24, 2012. For now it is being referred to as The Untitled Pixar Movie About Dia de los Muertos. The official synopsis is:

Release
No official release date has been provided. But, according to ComingSoon.net, it will release in 2016.
