Harley P. Gerson is a character in Monsters, Inc.. He is an employee at the company. He has yellow and orange skin, with two large feet, sharp teeth, a large mouth, and no arms. Unfortunately, for a scarer, he often scares himself since his scarer cards states that he's afraid of Dogs, Cats, and Squeeze Toys. This could explain why he's down at the bottom of the Scare Chart on Scarefloor F.

- The growl that Harley makes in his appearance at Harryhausen's is a sound effect taken from the Warner Bros. Sound Effects Library by Sound Ideas, called "CARTOON, MONSTER - LOW GRUNTS AND SNORTS, CREATURE".
- Harley's last name, Gerson, is a reference to the late Daniel Gerson, and his first name could be a reference to production designer Harley Jessup.
- According to his Scare Card, Harley spent most of the 1999/2000 season on the disabled list after a messy encounter with a bedwetter
