"Part of my job is to prioritise which villains I'm going to combat, you know? So I take a look around, I see if there's any good-looking women who need to be rescued immediately and then I sort of start from there and work my way down the list."

Gamma Jack's confirmed color and appearance from the Lego Incredibles Video game in 2018.

Gamma Jack, formerly known as Handsome Jack, was a character in The Incredibles.

The Incredibles[]

Gamma Jack was one of the Supers targeted by Syndrome for Operation Kronos. The Operation Kronos database assigned him a threat rating of 7.9, the second highest after Mr. Incredible (9.1) and Hypershock (7.5). Gamma Jack did manage to destroy the fifth version of the Omnidroid during the training sessions for Operation Kronos, but was then killed by its successor model, the Omnidroid 6 after being lured back to Nomanisan the second time.

Abilities[]

Gamma Jack's superpower was the ability to create controlled bursts of radiation, from focused burns to complete disintegration. The maximum range of this high-intensity burst is 100 meters, before a sharp intensity falloff.

Personality[]

Easily recognized by his wave-like hairstyle, he was a favorite of the ladies (his original name being Handsome Jack) and was prone to megalomaniacal impulses, believing Supers to be a "superior race." He chose to prioritize attractive women above protecting other innocents and had a particular issue with fighting attractive female supervillains. These impulses and traits caused the NSA great concern, putting him under close "A Level" monitoring as a result. He was also a picky eater.

Trivia[]

  • It appears as though the NSA were deeply concerned that Gamma Jack would have ended up becoming a supervillain, due to his unstable nature.
  • In LEGO The Incredibles, it is shown that the symbol on his chest is actually the symbol for gamma radiation: γ
