The Grasshoppers are Hopper's minions in A Bug's Life, bullying the ants into collecting food for them. When they are not terrorizing the insects of Ant Island, the grasshoppers are seen in Hopper's hideout. Towards the end of the film, the grasshoppers take the complete control of Ant Island until the ant colony finally fights back. They retreat (without Hopper) defeated. After this, it is not known what became of the grasshoppers or where they escaped to; however, Molt joins P.T. Flea's circus act.
Known grasshoppers are: Hopper (the leader), Molt (Hopper's brother), Thumper (Hopper's pet), Axel and Loco.
