- His name sounds like "you go fast".
- Hugo Fast was supposed to be released under the name "Hugo Fast" in the Cars die-cast line in the "World of Cars" series packaging. However, this version got canceled for unknown reasons. The newer "World of Cars: Race O Rama" packaging named him "Nitroade Pitty".
