Cars on the Road[]
The Legend[]
Ivy wants the cryptid hunters out of her mountain area and McQueen and Mater agree to help her. Using things in her basement, they set up a trap for the hunters by convincing them that they are aliens. The Hunters get freaked out and flee the woods for good. Ivy thanks the two for allowing her to "perform" again.
As McQueen and Mater continue their journey to the wedding, Ivy suddenly returns and asks if she can join them. The two happily accept as she drives down the road with them, shedding her moss.
Show Time[]
Ivy, who is covered in dirt and moss, asks them where the duo is headed. She later gets cleaned off at the Sudsmarine Car Wash and will be seen performing a stunt at the Circus Velocitas.
Ivy and Mater are taken in by the sights and sounds while McQueen is revealed to be deftly afraid of clowns. Upon being surrounded by them, they are forced into their seats, where the lack of cars implies that they are in dire straights, and watch them perform. Once again, Ivy and Mater enjoy themselves while McQueen trembles in fear.
The hosts call upon a volunteer and, despite Mater suggesting McQueen, Ivy is chosen for a performance. She tells the owners that she has her own idea and has the cars line up. Mater and McQueen are worried that she will smash into them, but to their surprise and awe, Ivy begins to dance and circle around the clown cars. McQueen congratulates Ivy on the performance and she reveals that the circus has asked her to join them. McQueen admits that it is probably for the best and he and mater bid her goodbye, though promise to meet her again someday.
As they leave, Mater suggests that after the wedding, they can come by the circus again to see how Ivy is doing, though McQueen is still reluctant to see the clowns again. Ivy enjoys her newfound life with the circus.
B- Movie[]
Then when Mater and McQueen are losing hope of their acting career at The B-Movie Set, Ivy is surprisingly back once again.
Appearence[]
Ivy is a green teel mint like monster truck and thus possesses giant tumbler wheels and has five headlights on her head. Her usual design and appearance is an acrylic, sparkling aquamarine blue with an orange fire design on her sides. While living in the woods, she looked greyish-brown and was covered in green moss. When she joined the film industry, she was painted entirely yellow and had a giant rubber yellow and purple brain on her head.
Her make and model's name are unknown, although it may be a revised version of some unnamed Haulital trucks, albeit a few differences (like most notably the front being somewhat similar to Sterling and Kay Pillar-Durev, but with no grille), the large heavy-duty mirrors, and no front bumper.
Personality[]
Ivy is a very defensive vehicle. She was proud and happy to perform for an audience, but a supposed accident forced her to live like a hermit in the woods and stay away from everyone. Despite this, she secretly loved to perform again and with the help of Lightning McQueen and Mater, she is able to overcome her insecurities and step out into the world again. She becomes very open and fun-loving, showing an adventurous side that matches that with her friends. She is also very opportunistic about wanting to take the stage, but is not vain or conceited about it. She is a car filled with passion for what she loves best.
