Joy is a character of the upcoming film Inside Out. She is one of the five emotions inside the mind of Riley. Fittingly, she appears to be happy all the time, and the most enthusiast of the group. The official synopsis calls Joy "Riley's main and most important emotion."
Amy Poehler describes her as follows: "Joy is the engine. She keeps everyone moving and happy. She represents the parts of Riley that are starting to change and become more complicated, and she is reluctant to let that change happen. She may be the most positive, but in many ways, she is the least flexible."[1]
Appearance
Joy has flesh colour skin, with blue hair and large blue eyes. She wears a lime green summer dress adorned with blue flower-like motifs and is the only emotion not wearing shoes. She glows when she's excited.
