Joy with one of Riley's memory orbs
Memory Orbs are objects used by the emotions Joy (yellow), Sadness (blue), Anger (red), Disgust (green) and Fear (purple) in Inside Out. First, a tube sends up Riley's memories for Fear, Sadness, Joy, Disgust and Anger to see. Next, the memories are moved to their places, then we see Joy next to Riley's joy memories, and she gets one and watches it. Later, we see the colored orbs' memories for Anger, Disgust and Fear to the left. In Riley's mother's mind, orange curtains partly reveal the trays where the mom's memories are stored. In Riley's father's mind, the orbs are seen to the left of Riley's father's Fear, Sadness, Joy, Disgust and Anger just like in Riley's own mind.
