Metroville as it appears in the video game

Metroville is the city where Bob Parr and his family live after having to stop performing super hero work and go into hiding via the Superhero Relocation Program in the Pixar film The Incredibles.

Downtown area[]

The downtown area of Metroville is where the Incredible family fight Syndrome's Omnidroid. In this area is a park with a large pond.

Burning Building[]

This burning building is where Bob Parr and Lucius Best go to save people from while disguised as bank robbers, complete with ski masks over their faces. It is destroyed after Bob punches a hole through a wall so that he, Lucius, and their rescued can escape.

Jewelry Store[]

After escaping the burning building, Bob and Lucius end up breaking into this store, where they are mistaken as robbers by the Metroville Police. There is a water dispenser in the shop, as Lucius uses the water to freeze the police officer confronting them.

Railroad Yard[]

This is where Mr. Incredible goes to test his strength and lose weight by lifting freight cars and locomotives.

Lucius Best's apartment[]

This is the apartment where Lucius Best/Frozone and his wife Honey (not seen, only her voice is heard) live.

  • Metroville's design is almost identical to the city of Chicago.
  • The birth of Artificial Intelligence was created during the 1960’s leading to machine manufacturing implemented by the corporation Buy n Large from WALL•E.
  • The newspaper Metroville Tribune confirms the year in which the majority of the film takes place, after the "15 years later" segment: 1962. This is also evident in Metroville's architectural style and car designs.
  • Metroville's name is a combination of Metropolis and Smallville, Superman's home cities in DC Comics.
  • One of the cars parked in Metroville during the battle against Syndrome and his Omnidroid v.10 is a non-anthropomorphic Doc Hudson, in reference to Pixar's next film, Cars.
