The Police Officers are minor characters in The Incredibles and Incredibles 2. They serve as the police of Municiberg, Metroville, and New Urbem.
The Incredibles[]
Police officers are first shown in the beginning where they chase armed fugitive bandits in Municiberg. Although unable to catch them, Mr. Incredible (who just saved an old lady's cat, Squeaker, come down from the tree) helps the police by tossing the tree onto the road, causing the bandits car to crash and the police to apprehend them. The police then thank Mr. Incredible for his actions, but the latter told them he was just here to help. After Mr. Incredible saves a train from falling off the track that was caused by the bomb, he later hands Buddy Pine over to the same police officers, telling them to take him home and notify his mom about what he was doing. He later informs them about Bomb Voyage and how they'll set up a perimeter to capture him but finds out he's late for his wedding with Helen Parr. However, he informs them they'll eventually capture Voyage, leaving them wondering what was he in a rush for.
After Mr. Incredible and Frozone (acting as vigilantes under their Bob Parr and Lucius Best persona) save civilians from a burning building, they accidentally crash into a jewelry store, tripping an alarm and alerting a nearby police officer to apprehend them (believing the duo to be jewel thieves). The nervous police officer holds Frozone at gunpoint and orders him to freeze, but the latter tells the officer he is just getting a drink (so he can replenish his ice powers). Just before the nervous cop can apprehend him, Frozone freezes the cop just before he can open fire at him. In response, several police officers arrive at the scene, where they encounter the frozen police officer and find out that the duo escaped, leaving them confused.
Incredibles 2[]
Police officers are first shown in the beginning of the film, where they apprehend the Parr Family for the collateral damages the Underminer did to the city.

The Guns and Vehicles[]
The weapons are equipped with are very reminiscent of those of the 1960s.
The ordinance pistol is reminiscent of an M1911A1, however, after the arrest of the Parr family happen in Incredibles 2 the policemen as well as having been seen with guns are seen tinkering with rifles reminiscent of the M2 Carbine at the time certainly used by the police. The police vehicle resembles the "Cadillac Interceptor 1946" in The Incredibles and the "Chevrolet Bel Air 1957" in Incredibles 2.
