Mr. Johannsen is one of the minor characters in Finding Nemo. He is an old, grumpy, big flat flounder who lives under a thin layer of sand located near Mr. Ray's class.

"Every neighborhood has a grumpy old guy who hates the sound of children playing and ends up chasing them out of his yard. Mr. Johanssen [sic] is the grouch on Nemo's block. This big flat flounder is so well camouflaged to blend in with the sand, that the kids don't just play near him, but ON TOP of him. No wonder he is so cranky!"[2]
He wakes up reprimands Sheldon, Tad and Pearl for playing in his front yard before class, but he couldn't see them due to having his eyes on one side.
