Pixar Wiki

Pixar Short Films Collection Volume 2 is a home video release that compiles 12 of Pixar's shorts, following the first short film collection.[1][2] The release has a total runtime of around 75 minutes.[3]

A German flyer from Disney confirmed that the second collection of Pixar shorts would be released in Germany in November 2012 on DVD and Blu-ray.[4] It was released on DVD and Blu-ray November 13, 2012 alongside Brave[5], although it was said that it would be released in the United Kingdom almost a month earlier. On October 15, 2012,[6] it had been confirmed that its UK release is November 12, 2012, a day earlier.[7]

Short Films[]

Bonus Features[]

Student films by John Lasseter

Student films by Andrew Stanton

  • Somewhere in the Arctic
  • A Story

Student films by Pete Docter

  • Winter
  • Palm Springs
  • Next Door.

Notes[]

  • The MPAA has given it a G rating, but due to the content (particularly the once mild use of bad language) in one of the bonus features, Andrew Stanton's second student film A Story, the UK release has been classified PG by the BBFC.
  • For unknown reasons, there is no play all feature available on this release's main menu. Pixar Short Films Collection Volume 1 did have that feature, but Pixar Short Films Collection Volume 3 would continue this change.
