Smash and Grab is an upcoming, experimental Pixar animated short film from the new SparkShorts division of the studio. It was originally announced at SIGGRAPH 2017. It will have a limited release alongside The Little Mermaid at the El Capitan Theater from January 18 - 24, 2019. It will premier on Disney's new direct-to-consumer streaming service in late 2019.
Trivia
- This is the third Pixar short to be rated PG by the MPAA[1] after Party Central and Sanjay's Super Team, followed by the upcoming Purl.
