Splashdown is a character in The Incredibles.
The Incredibles
Splashdown was a superhero who possessed powers involving flight, underwater high-speed travel, underwater breathing and the ability to communicate with underwater lifeforms . He was considered to be fiercely independent and was obsessed with finding the lost city of Atlantis, his secret identity being an oceanographer.
He was good friends with Mr. Incredible, being one of the few Supers who attended his private wedding to Elastigirl.
Splashdown was one of several supers who suffered a "Suit Malfunction", being listed as "Missing In Action" after his rescue of an oil tanker, when his cape was snagged by a water vortex, causing him to be sucked in.
