Sprocket Systems is the original name of the sound division of Lucasfilm Ltd. which is now known as Skywalker Sound when it was renamed in 1987. It was renamed due to a flood in San Anselmo, California, this caused Sprocket Systems to move from San Anselmo in January of 1982, it was later moved to Skywalker Ranch where it was renamed Skywalker Sound. This sound division worked to create the sound effects for Star Wars and many other famous films and worked with The Lucasfilm Computer Graphics Project (now known as Pixar) to create "The Adventures of Andre and Wally B." in 1984.
