WALL•E (2008)

• In the commercial for the Axiom, Shelby Forthright says "because at BnL, space is the final fun-tier!". This is a play on the line 'space, the final frontier' from the 'where no man has gone before' phrase in the opening sequence of Star Trek: The Original Series.

Monsters University (2013)

• In class, when Mike Wazowski raises his hand and exclaims "A clown running in the dark!", his hand is in the shape of the Vulcan salute.

Trivia

• Michael Giacchino, who composed the scores of multiple Pixar films, also composed the scores of the Star Trek reboot series.
• Christopher Plummer, who voiced Charles F. Muntz in Up, also played General Chang, the main antagonist in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.
• Whoopi Goldberg, who voiced Stretch in Toy Story 3, also played Guinan in the TV series Star Trek: The Next Generation and the films Star Trek: Generations & Star Trek: Nemesis. Goldberg will reprise her role of Guinan in the upcoming second season of the TV series Star Trek: Picard.
