:Found something interesting. I was looking at an online copy of The Incredibles screenplay; even though it is not on an official site, it seems to be the original document (link here). And I realize the car is named. Quote: "The car's exterior CONVERTS into the coolest retro-futuristic vehicle ever seen: The INCREDIBILE". That's the closest thing I've seen to date of an official name !--Gray Catbird (talk) 02:31, June 4, 2013 (UTC)

:::OK, considrering "Incredibile" is the name supported by the official screenplay and the near-official DK Essential guide, I will rename this page "Incredibile" (even though I don't like that name). :The name is also given as "Incredibile" in the NSA files on Mr. Incredible in the The Incredibles DVD bonus content. It's also clearly named (and I believe spelled on-screen) as "Incredibile" in Incredibles 2. That "official video" was probably made by people who didn't actually have anything to do with the movie's production, and probably took the spelling from the toy, which again, was also probably made by people who didn't actually have anything to do with the movie's production. —Robotech Master (talk) 00:17, July 16, 2018 (UTC)

What is the name of this car ??

After a quick Google search, I thought Mr. Incredible's car was named the Incredimobile. Now, after more investigation, I realize there are a handful of names that have been given to it. And I can't find any definitive source ! Only sources in merchandise (which is not always reliable in some cases), that support a variety of contradicting names. To give a little idea, here are the names I find:

 • Incredimobile: This name is mentioned on a Disney Store RC toy version of the car (Example). Seen fairly often, in newspapers (notably Empire). It can be noted this name was the one used in Cars 2 for the car-ified version of The Incredibles.
 • Incredibile: The car is apparently featured and detailed in DK's Essential Guide to The Incredibles under this name (the book on Amazon). That is a major point. (Even though since the Cars 2 one had some info contradicting with what official press releases said, I'm not sure of the reliability of DK's books.) This name once made it way in an article on Wikipedia and is still mentionned alongside "Incredimobile" (2).
 • Incredicar: Seems to pop up often on fanfiction websites, (guess they wanted a more original name) but also supported by one very recent source: it is the name given to the car in Disney Infinity (as seen on the official website) .
 • Incredobile: Supported by a Hasbro, err... "Hero-Changin'" toy... (Example)

As you can see, there is a lot uncertainty. It would be great if I could find something that gave an idea how the production team called it, but I see nothing... I think the article should be renamed to just "Mr. Incredible's car", and may be mention the names given to the car in the lead. What do you think ? Does anyone know any other details or information, from DVD bonuses, director's commentary ?...--Gray Catbird (talk) 22:50, May 18, 2013 (UTC)
