PPTruck pictures on Facebook

Pixar has posted official screenshots of the Pizza Planet truck scenes on their Facebook proflie ( http://www.facebook.com/DisneyPixar ). Find their photo albums and click on the "Chatterbox Tipline #1" album to see the pictures - much higher quality there. If/when I have time, I'll put them here on Wikia, but anyone else is more than welcome to do it before me. Dogman15 05:19, July 22, 2010 (UTC)

The Incredibles

PPti

The screencap that's posted here of blurry car from The Incredibles is hard to tell if it's really supposed to be the Pizza Planet truck. I finally found the spot in the film where it comes from (1:35:08), and it's still not really convincing. I listened to both commentary tracks for that scene, and there's no confirmation there. Is there another source where it's revealed that the Pizza Planet ruck is supposed to be in that scene? —Scott (talk) 01:13, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

I painstakingly (sp?) went through that scene frame by frame, and I did not, unfortunately, see the Pizza Planet truck. Another screencap from another website I saw led me to believe it was a blurry shot where the camera was inside the truck's bed, but seeing it on DVD proved it to be exactly one frame of the camera blurring past a view of underneath an overpass. As far as I'm convinced The Incredibles does not include the Pizza Planet truck. Dogman15 05:19, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
I don't see it either. I'm going to take it out until we find a source from Pixar backing up that the blur in the accompanying screenshot is indeed the Pizza Planet truck. —Scott (talk) 15:59, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

THIS is the Pizza Planet truck in the Incredibles. --Vn-go12 13:49, July 22, 2010 (UTC)

Here it is! Look! I'm sure that is the truck! To look at it without the shading and the arrow click this link

What the? How is that the Pizza Planet truck in The Incredibles? I found the Pizza Planet truck in The Incredibles at 01:35:15. Look at the picture: Pixarfandom 08:41, May 30, 2011 (UTC)
Look here guys: http://jimhillmedia.com/editor_in_chief1/b/jim_hill/archive/2007/12/09/a-special-where-s-wall-e-edition-of-why-for.aspx - RaptorWiki (Ryan) 15:02, May 29, 2011 (UTC)
I think the image Pixarfandom shows is not concluding. Personnaly, I'm sure it's an ordinary sedan. It does not have the white hatch.--Gray Catbird 16:21, May 29, 2011 (UTC)
Gray Catbird, it is concluding from what I think. If you look very closely at the top you might see the rocket on top of it. Pixarfandom 16:55, May 29, 2011 (UTC)
Doesn't look at all like the truck to me. It looks like a sedan to me as well, with something behind it. - RaptorWiki (Ryan) 17:17, May 29, 2011 (UTC)
Have a closer look. Pixarfandom 17:23, May 29, 2011 (UTC)
Still looks like a sedan, not a truck. - RaptorWiki (Ryan) 17:28, May 29, 2011 (UTC)
Well if that isn't it, there must be a Pizza Planet truck in The Incredibles.
Lee Unkrich stated on Twitter that it does not show up in The Incredibles. --Jeff (talk) 02:23, May 30, 2011 (UTC)

See?

Yes, Lee Unkrich did say it did not appear in The Incredibles. But John Lasseter said it did. I tend to believe John Lasseter more than Lee Unkrich. How about this image? Click link, and to see without shading or arrow see here. Pixarfandom 07:49, May 30, 2011 (UTC)
I think the same thing than for the other one, and I even think it's more evident : it looks like a normal sedan.
I'm getting mixed up with all these contradictory sources... So that means this question is a complete mystery ?
But anyway, that the Pizza Planet Truck appears in Pixar films is not a rule that MUST be respected, and it is possible the truck doesn't appear--Gray Catbird 11:55, May 30, 2011 (UTC)
You can give up if you want to, but I'm not, because it has got to be somewhere. If not in the car chase sequence then it's somewhere else. But you said that that one looks like a normal sedan, well that might be because of the camera angle perhaps. Pixarfandom 12:34, May 30, 2011 (UTC)
Like Jeff said, Lee Unkrich confirmed that the Pizza Planet truck doesn't appear in The Incredibles. I think we should take the "Talk" template off of this discussion. --Aaron 18:36, June 25, 2011 (UTC)
I agree. We will probably never know if the Pizza Planet Truck appears in The Incredibles unless a new official announcement says it.--Gray Catbird 23:28, June 25, 2011 (UTC)

A delivery truck isn't a Location. We need a different category for this. -- Danny (talk) 23:02, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

That's what I thought. We've been running into this problem quite a bit lately. I can fix that...I think. ;-) FLAGFREAK 23:30, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
Okay, I've fixed it. How is it? FLAGFREAK 23:49, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

How will they put the pizza planet truck in Brave?

Since Brave seems to be set in a time when trucks weren't invented yet, how do you think they will put the pizza truck in Brave? Mabye you just see a picture in the backround or something that seems to take the shape of it?Crazyhead88 21:00, August 11, 2011 (UTC)

Possibly the movie will be a story told from a time when trucks are around. - RaptorWiki (Ryan) 01:44, August 12, 2011 (UTC)
Nah, i hope not. Hopefully, they'll make it fit into the old times. By making into a cart and a horse. Instead of pizza planet, it'd possibly be called "Pizza Kingdom". Endrizzi427 02:13, August 12, 2011 (UTC)
I don't think there'll be trucks in the film, as the plot does describe Scotland as "rugged and mythic". I was thinking of something more like Endrizzi, if the Pizza Planet truck does appear it could be a Conestoga wagon or something. The Pixar Times focused one of there articles on that exact question, you could check it out here if you want. There's also some interesting comments from the blog's followers. --Aaron 04:27, August 12, 2011 (UTC)
I meant someone from possibly the current time telling this story that takes place long ago. While in current time, they could show it. If they just jump straight into this story from older times, then who knows. - RaptorWiki (Ryan) 09:18, August 12, 2011 (UTC)
I think an anachronical object that (very) briefly appears in the background could be accepted... Usually, you see the Pizza Planet Truck only if you're looking for it (except in the Toy Story movies). Also, it could appear in a dream, or some surreal effect (like while some magic ?)...--Gray Catbird 15:40, August 12, 2011 (UTC)
