Own page?[]
Why does this game have its own page? - RaptorWiki (Ryan) 17:57, October 5, 2014 (UTC)
- I think it can make sense... We have the proper category system, so I believe in theory we are covering Pixar-related merchandise? Currently we have pages for quite a few video games, (including some that may be fairly minor...). Is there something particular about this one that suggests we shouldn't be giving it a page?Gray Catbird (talk) 22:45, October 5, 2014 (UTC)
- I thought we weren't making pages for the video games, since they weren't created by Pixar, but then again, my memory may be off! :) - RaptorWiki (Ryan) 23:03, October 5, 2014 (UTC)
- Yeah, I guess it's just my memory. Nevermind. I guess we just keep everything on one page for the games and other merchandise. Don't mind me! - RaptorWiki (Ryan) 23:04, October 5, 2014 (UTC)
Convergence problem[]
As has happened often in the past, this article is an almost word-for-word copy of the one on the Disney Wiki. Indeed, a few minutes ago I reverted an edit whose sole purpose was to make the two articles identical or nearly so.
I agree with what has been said in the past, that there is no point in two separate wikis if they don't stay separate, but just mirror each other. I think this article should be re-written; in the light of the 2014 concerns above, perhaps it should be stripped back to just the interwiki link I added. — evilquoll (talk) 03:48, June 6, 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks for staying on top of this and cleaning it up. I've never been much of a gamer and kind of lose track of pages like the video games. But I still think our original decision on limiting video game content is correct. I'm afraid to venture off and look at other video game pages to see how far they've strayed from the original intent. . . --Jeff (talk) 17:31, June 6, 2019 (UTC)
