Target Corporation is an American retailing company headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is the second largest discount retailer in the United States, behind Walmart. The company operates stores in the United States, Canada, and separately in Australia, known as Target Australia Pty Ltd.

In 2010, to promote the release of Toy Story 3, Pixar created a commercial for Target featuring Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Rex, Hamm and Slinky Dog. In the commercial, Woody, Buzz, Rex, Hamm and Slinky are waiting on a white backdrop when Jessie arrives, pushing some carts.

In 2011, to promote the release of Cars 2, Pixar created a commercial for Target featuring Lightning McQueen, Francesco Bernoulli, Minny, and Mater. In the commercial Lightning is racing through a highway, when Francesco speeds past him saying he thought he was a stop sign. They begin to race each other, going even faster. Then Minny shows up, going quite fast as well and squeezing through them. They start to slow down then stop when they see a Target store up ahead. Mater then shows up, telling them they know better than to compete with a "mom on a mission." Some Tractors also appear in the commercial, appearing in the background.

Merchandise

Target, as it is a large company, has sold hundreds of Pixar merchandise through the years, including LEGO sets, the Toy Story Collection, and the popular Cars, Cars Toons, and Cars 2 Die-Cast Lines, as well as Target exclusives.

You can see the look of trolleys, as well as that forklifts can move trolleys after they've been used by customers by using their forks. There are automatic doors so cars can go in and out. The doors have a traffic light above them. The door where you go into the store has a green light on, meaning you can go in, and the door you go out of has a red light, meaning no entry inside, only go out of the store.
