The Curse Dragon is the main antagonist in the 2020 Pixar film Onward.
Onward
The dragon was brought to life after Barley Lightfoot discovers the Phoenix Gem inside a historic fountain and retrieves it, unwittingly triggering the curse which turns the high school into the dragon bent on claiming the gem. The dragon faces Ian Lightfoot and knocks his staff into the ocean; but Ian reforms it from a splinter and continues the fight. Corey the Manticore flies in carrying Laurel Lightfoot, who sinks the magic sword, the Curse Crusher into the artificial dragon's heart which buys Ian time to cast the visitation spell and fully reform Wilden Lightfoot's body. Ian sends Barley ahead to give his goodbye to Wilden, and holds off the artificial dragon long enough for Laurel to destroy it and the curse.
