Thomas Kretschmann (born September 8, 1962) is a German actor, known for roles such as SS-Gruppenführer Hermann Fegelein in the 2004 film Downfall and Major Otto Ernst Remer in the 2008 film Valkyrie. He is one of Germany's most popular actors. For Pixar, he performed the voice of Professor Z in Cars 2 in both the original version and the German dub.
