Timothy Peter Dalton (born March 21, 1946) is a Welsh-born British actor of film, theatre, and television. Dalton is best known as the fourth actor chosen to portray Agent 007 in the James Bond franchise, playing Bond in The Living Daylights and Licence to Kill. He performed the voice of thespian-hedgehog Mr. Pricklepants in Toy Story 3. He reprised the role in Toy Story Toons (except for Partysaurus Rex), Toy Story OF TERROR!, Toy Story That Time Forgot and Toy Story 4.

Biography[]

Dalton was born in Colwyn Bay, Denbighshire, North Wales to an English father, who was a captain in the Special Operations Executive during World War II, and an American mother of Italian and Irish descent.

Aside from portraying James Bond, Dalton is well known as Neville Sinclair in the Disney film The Rocketeer, Rhett Butler in the television miniseries Scarlett, an original sequel to Gone with the Wind, and Damien Drake in Looney Tunes: Back in Action, the character being a parody and reference of his portrayal as James Bond.

Dalton is also known for roles in Shakespearean films and plays such as Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth. He currently portrays the recurring character of Alexei Volkoff in the U.S. television series Chuck and will perform the voice of Lord Milori in the upcoming Tinker Bell film Secret of the Wings.
