Thomas Louis Magliozzi (June 28, 1937 – November 3, 2014) was one of the co-hosts of NPR's weekly radio show Car Talk alongside his brother Ray, where they were known as "Click and Clack, the Tappet Brothers". Their show was honored with a Peabody Award in 1992.

Tom voiced Rusty Rust-eze in Cars. He passed away at the age of 77 in 2014 due to complications from Alzheimer's disease.[1] Despite this, Animation Magazine has stated that he will be voicing Rusty in Cars 3[2]. It is possible that his lines may have been pre-recorded before his death.
