Tony Trihull is a character in Cars 2. He is one of the heavily-equipped battleships who works for Professor Z. He is seen in the begining where he confronts Crabby and forces him to leave the area while Finn McMissile hitches a ride on Tony where Tony arrives at the oil rigs. He is later seen towards the end where he tries to escape with Professor Z, but Finn stops him. Tony then uses a magnet to pull the Professor to him, but the magnet unintentionally brings all of Finn's mini-bombs to it which then blow up, prsumably killing Tony Trihull.
Trivia
- Tony is modeled after USS Independence (LCS-2), an trimaran Littoral Combat Ship in service with U.S. Navy. It's also reflected in his hull number (02) and last name (Tri-Hull).
