• The fact that Tim Allen is playing multiple Buzz Lightyear dolls, echos back to the bloopers, in 2, when a Buzz Lightyear doll accidentally burps during a take, causing all of the Buzz Lightyear's to groan and complain in disgust.

References to Toy Story 3

• The synopsis about Bonnie outgrowing her toys, might be a reference to Andy out growing his toys.
• Also the subplot of malfunctioning Buzz Lightyear dolls is a reference to the original script by Circle 7, before Pixar reworked the script.
