"Okay. So here is what you do, you just sneak up in front of them, and then honk! And they do the rest. Watch this!"
Mater teaches Lightning how to play Tractor Tipping.

The Tractors are characters in the Cars franchise.

Cars

"The earliest domestication of the North American tractors can be traced back to the 1800s during the construction of the first continental railroad. Railroaders quickly discovered the tractors' ability to create level grades across even the most demanding geography. Today the native plains tractor is regarded as one of the true pioneers of the West."[1]

"Tractors are hard workers. They enjoy what they do, plowing through the fields on a nice warm day, and then falling asleep under the moonlight. But every so often they wake up to the sound of snorting and giggling trailing off into the distance, and they find themselves lying on their backs staring up at the stars. But they don't mind. It's actually kind of nice to get to sleep lying down for a change."[1]

Mater and the Ghostlight

In Mater and the Ghostlight, when Mater thought he was being chased by the ghostlight, he zoomed past some tractors in Frank's field, causing them to tip.

Unidentified Flying Mater

When Mater was taking Mator tractor tipping, he honked his horn and tipped a tractor. Then Mator did a louder honk that created a crop circle design and tipped all of the other tractors in the field.

Cars 2: The Video Game

Tractors Cars2

Lighting McQueen and a tractor in Cars 2: The Video Game.

Tractors reappear in Cars 2: The Video Game and players can earn the "Tractor Tipping" Badge by tipping 3 tractors in any of the Radiator Spring Clearances.
