It's not yet a wide known hybrid species but it's the coyote mixed with the wolf. It wouldn't matter if Pixar used American tales or Mexican tales to form some scenes of an adventurous coywolf. It explores like the coyote and it's prudent like the wolf, but it's quieter and calmer than a wolfdog, even as it strolls near the streets. Forest, Grassland, or Desert it would be a perfect hybrid animal to make a film about especially Pixar does this coywolf's film like they did Merida's film including some old Scottish stuff and respect the history of the two species that created the coywolf. This Coywolf film could be as fun as UP, Cars, or or Finding Dory. This hybrid cousin wouldn't mind if it was in highlands or a valley, it would explore calmly like the characters in  UP do, join new friends like Mater does, and go on adventures a bit farther out there like Dory did. There's plenty of folklore to help Pixar form an animated film for the Coywolf, part coyote part wolf. If this coywolf traveled in the desert it could have scenes active like Coco's movie scenes too. In its NATURE film Meet The Coywolf it's alone during the day but it rejoins its pack while the sun goes down.

This is a hybrid animal that would completely be up to Pixar should have magical scenes or not, should it show some spirits like Hercules and Coco do or not, Who shall the coywolf be friends with, shall it travel America or Mexico or shall this Coywolf travel both continents during its long adventure, which species shall it have its voice more like the coyote or the wolf or shall it be like the real one and sound a little like both while songs of the film play. Shall it be the character who's saved or shall the coywolf be the hero / heroine itself.

Coywolf Paradise, Coywolf Country, Coywolf's Homelands, Coywolf's Hideout, Adventures of Coywolf, or a title that would fit everything about this hybrid cousin Coywolf's Secrets. These are the type of title I'd offer the animated film for the coywolf.

This is based on no books at all this is like Merida's movie just based on what you want the characters to introduce in their pretend homes.
